In 1955, Mr. Giovanniello, our original pizzaiolo, embarked on a flavorful journey from Italy with his family. Brooklyn became their home, and at his cousin's restaurant, Giovanniello dived into the art of pizza making. A few years later, at the young age of 19, he opened his first pizzeria in Brooklyn. Fast forward to 1972, and he found a building for sale in upstate New York – that's where the Pizza 72 legacy began.
